Aurora and Gavyn are back for another adventure. They go from the Hollywood Red Carpet for the film he was making when they met to home where he proposes to back to work fighting the forces of evil in Las Vegas. Aurora is kidnapped out of a Vegas hotel. Gavyn does everything he can to find her and finally feels her on a dirt road. The gang is all there to get her back. Keith is also kidnapped but his minder is killed and he is seriously injured. He does not think he is going to make it, so he pulls the pin on a grenade the guard is wearing and Aurora is able to leave.The organization keeps extensive records of each bloodline and is trying to figure out how they came to be. Aurora comes back with new information about who and what they are. Asag, the Mesopotamian Rock Demon, had two wives. The first was Uras the earth Goddess. Asag was so in love with her and his second wife Ki was so jealous, she cursed Uras's children. They would always be missing part of their soul and that is why they have to have a handler. The Shyama are getting reading to attack all humans in a cleansing unless Aurora and the gang can stop them.
This was a fast moving story with great characters.

This is a very nice story and the characters are intriguing. I especially liked the earthly mother. However, I enjoyed the first series that I read about white demons a little more.
